Things Chiang Mai drivers need to learn (if not, I want to see them eaten by Linping someday)

• Roads aren’t sidewalks. You can’t just stop whenever you want.
• Give ways to cars in roundabouts. You have to wait, not them!
• You are only allowed to park on one side of the street.
• Flashing your headlights mean: “hey mate, you go first, I’m slowing down for you.” Not: “fuck off I’m coming”
• You are driving a car for fuck sake, so don’t overtake anyone from the left.
• When you make a turn, it is not okay to be on the wrong lane even if it’s for 1-3 seconds.
• It’s okay to not give way to the adjacent street when the traffic light in front of you is green. It’s however very rude to block the adjacent street at any time.
• Learn to be more compassionate when the car in front of you has a “Lampoon” license plate.
